The Prama implant design was developed from the concept of the B.O.P.T. technique on natural teeth, and it takes advantage of the same principles to obtain stable and aesthetic rehabilitations. The capability of soft tissues to adapt to the shapes of the prosthetic structures isenhanced by the Prama neck that, connected to posts with a vertical geometry, allows the prosthetic emergence profile to shape the peri-implant tissues.
With Prama, the «biologically oriented preparation technique» becomes a «prosthetically oriented preparation technique», which benefits from the vertical geometry, allows free space for the regeneration of tissues around the prosthetic emergence and also distances the bacteria’s operating zone from the bone crest.

All procedures that distinguish the biologically oriented preparation technique (B.O.P.T.) used on dental elements have also been transferred to implantology, culminating in the creation of Prama, a fixture based on B.O.P.T. principles to simplify implantoprosthetics as well. The freedom of choice between cylindrical or conical endosseous morphology and two different surface treatments make surgical positioning safe and simple. The emergence profile with a hyperbolic geometry permits effective continuity between the implant and the post. Anodic treatment offers perfect matching with the soft tissues.
